Rapa Nui is the result of the social solidarity program of the voluntary association 7000. The Rapa Nui shop starts its activities in 2007 spreading values, instruments and products of the fair trade. Among its activities it deals with the human rights and the sustainable development of fair trade. Moreover It concerns with responsible consumption focusing on young people needs and expectations about alternative choices to usual consumption.

 

Wedding Boxes

In choosing your wedding box from the fair trade means to be a careful and responsible consumer. The Rapa Nui shop offers you the possibility to choose among 200 products from the South of the world whose respect of human rights is guaranteed.

 

Private Events

Our rooms are at your disposal in order to organize events, birthday parties, degrees, baptisms, first communions and confirmations. You can choose your menu and the entertainment you prefer. You have the possibility to organize exhibitions as well as book presentations and all the events requiring a particular and original location.

 

Home Tastes

Rapa Nui also deals with Sicilian cooking Art and the best dishes in our culture are prepared with biological and local products.

 

Tastes from the world

Recipes, flavors and perfumes that tell us of “faraway places and never heard stories”. Moreover, Rapa Nui in the weekends organizes theme meetings in order to share ingredients and secrets of traditional dishes from all over the world. We offer a journey among the world dishes and their legends accompanied by traditional music.

 

Music

Rapa Nui also organizes a series of concerts for the promotion of local young songwriters.

 

Fair and Biological Catering

The Rapa Nui shop can also organize your catering for private and public events: coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and happy hours for parties and meetings.

 

Thanks to our selected suppliers and to skillful cooks, we offer a qualified and professional service. The dishes Rapa Nui proposes are prepared with biological and fair products coming from social associations well as from fair trade communities. Vegetables, eggs and cheese are produced respecting environment and animals. Bread and baked goods come from organic flour using traditional natural baking methods. Meat come from local farm inspired by biological criteria. Wine is produced by biological Cooperatives, supporting responsible agriculture and trade.

We use throwaway product and biological and biodegradable detergents.
