My name is Nina and I come from Slovenia. I am temporary staying in Messina. At the moment I'm not involved in any volunteer organization, but I participated at last as a volunteer this year in Ireland, where I was involved in the preparation of three different projects at the Art Centre in Cork. I don't have a lot of experience in volunteering, but with being involved in the workshop in Messina, I expect that I will get more information about volunteering around the world and learn how can I be more active in volunteering myself. I think it is never to late and why not start in the European Year of Volunteering. At last I also want to say that I am delighted to be a participant in this workshop and I am looking forward to meet all the people involved. |
