He lives in Messina, He taught English language and literature in the Secondary school. Since 1964, he has been working with local theatre companies, of which he was founder and / or founding member, (GTUS (1968) "Le Maschere" (1970-75) "I Messinscena" (2005). Presently he is the director of the AUSER-ME group "JES" (Juvenes et seniors). He got the degree certificate in human and religious sciences on 27/3/1999 at The ISSUR - Ignatianum of Messina, linked to the theological faculty of the Gregoriana University of Rome, discussing his thesis on Thomas More. He also wrote studies on British, American and French authors ( Shakespeare, Swift J., Marlowe, Dickinson, T. More, Tennyson, Pynchon, Maupassant...)
In 1980-81 he wrote and directed for RTP "off the subject", cabaret scenes (15 episodes).
He received 1st prize ex-aequo with "the interference" in 1981 in a RAI radioplay competition.
He was placed second in "Fondi La Pastora" in a play competition  with "The Long Journey."
He edited works by Pinter', Shakespeare, Dürrenmatt, Ibsen, Pirandello. Recently he put on "A forgotten story" (set in the shelter of Santa Marta in February 1943), "Colapesce 2000", "Once upon a time there was... gossip"  " Much Ado about nothing" in dialect , the cabaret "Telespass", "mineral water" by A. Campanile (2009) and "Peppe Nappa is back ..." (2010).
In 1966 he published the poem "It's my reality".
In 1981 he published the first collection of his poems "Attenti alle pause" ed. Carbone.

In 1990 he published "Messinscena" eleven plays for students. Ed. Carbone  In 1998 "A new Messinscena" pubblished by Armando Siciliano.
In 1999 he published Colapesce 2000, "Coladamuri", ed. A. Siciliano.

For children he wrote: "Ready to set off", "Jes the Grouper"... (performed for the third time in May 2011 in the primary school "Beata Eustochio"
He received 1st prize Dicearco, in a poetic competition, 2nd edition, on March 28, 2009
