CESV Messina is organizing the workshop “ Le forme dell’impegno sociale: volontariato e cittadinanza attiva” (Experiences of social commitment: volunteering and active citizenship) approved by the Italian LLP Agency (Grundtvig Workshops catalogue 2011-2012). 

Grundtvig Workshops bring together a small group of learners from several countries, for an innovative multi-national learning experience relevant for their personal development and learning needs in which learners are also encouraged to share their competences and insights actively with others.

Therefore participants are expected to contribute actively by sharing their experiences, information about their home country, tips, ideas and their creativeness. Each topic so, will benefit from their personal contribution and will be organized around expert speakers as well as study visits, group activities and feedback sessions.

Our workshop is organized on five topics :

1. Volunteering, Social commitment and active citizenship

2. Ethically oriented and sustainable consumption.

3. Environment protection and valorisation.

4. Fight against mafias and all forms of criminal organizations and corruption.

5. Local development and social inclusion
